Berlin, Day Two

Backpack essentials - Travel Guide, Notebook, Mobile, Sunglasses, Lipstick, Vintage Purse, Flask Of Tea, Cigarettes, Perfume.

Yesterday was so busy, so much to see and do and cram as much as possible in the short time we're here. I am in awe of the street art, it's everywhere.
On our travels we stopped our first Photoautomat, I was so excited. These vintage style photobooths are dotted around the city and for 2 Euros you have four fun pictures to capture a moment of your travels.
Yaam is a man made reggae beach bar on the river, close to the East Side Gallery, it's a little bit pricey but so much fun, you can play volleyball have a beer and soak up the sun, I had some bad news whilst we were there so didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked so I definitely have to go back before I come home.
We had such a busy day all in all but so much fun, not really seen many of the sight as the beer is so inviting and the price evermore so, but we crammed in so much even with a hangover, cure for this is to just carry on drinking.

Berlin, Day One

Well we made it safe and sound, Berlin is truly a beautiful place filled with beautiful people, lots of beards, buns and bikes. Our first day was mainly relaxing and getting our barings, planning for the weeks ahead. Our hostel is on the outskirts of Friedrichshain the staff are so friendly and welcoming, in the first few days we have made some great friends, mainly French. Unlike British people here will actually approach you and make the effort to chat and build friendships. So all in all our first day was spent drinking cheap beers the size of our face, making plans and hanging out with the hostel dog.
I will keep you guys posted.

it's been a long long time since I memorised your face

Afternoon everyone, well what can I say I'm melting. I'm not one to moan (little fib) but honestly I'm fed up of this heatwave. I heard this morning that it's the driest July since 1764? How is this possible, I'm long for a summer shower so I can head out in the down pour to cool down. The only good thing about all this lovely weather is the wonderful range of summer dress and accessories on offer to brighten me up.
