You're a feeling I'll forget!

After what appeared to have be the worst weekend of this year so far, I decided I was entitled to a few days of moping, the kind where you don't wash, eat junk food and watch back to back episodes of new girl until your eyes fall out. I have never been one to deal with rejection well, like the time I auditioned for the part of Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and got cast as a tree, I stamped and screamed all the way home, I insulted even my closest friends and whinged about it for a month. When I'm sad I like to wallow, but I'm pretty sure every girl out there will have "your song" on repeat, nose diving a tub of Ben & Jerry's, it's the law. In a dramatic turn of events, in the space of a 45 minute telephone conversation I had been accepted into a university course, a university that is at least 150 miles away in LONDON!

Oh I am aware now that none of this has anything to do with my outfit but for the first time in at least a week I have wanted to add colour to an outfit. I heart the colour coral more than I like kittens (slight exaggeration) and what better way to show everyone how happy you are. I wear a lot of floral patterns and bold prints but sometimes all you need is an injection of colour to scream "look at me, I'm fabulous!"

Happiness comes from within, never rely on others to make you happy, unless his name Jason Segel and he turns up with a box of kittens and a Gin & Tonic!
