polly put the kettle on we'll all have tea

After weeks of moaning about this weather I have finally embraced it, just as I'm getting used to it the sun goes in, but yesterday I enjoyed it for the first time. After a long and hot night shift I attended my brothers end of year farewell ceremony and then Mum and I headed over to Llangollen for a stop of early afternoon tea. The sun shone and we milled around the charity shops and second hand book shop, although I felt like my face was melting it was good fun to spend quality time with Momma Rinse.

I am head over heels with my new floral summer dress. I was sent it last week courtesy of Collectif, who specialise in wonderful 40's & 50's style clothing and accessories. Most of the item on the website go up to a size 22 which I think is great as most sites usually only cater for the smaller sizes, and I'm not sorry to say that some of us girls have love handles and are sometimes rather busty. This Floral Summer Bouquet Dress has an elasticated panel across the back so it's a little more forgiving, so maybe even go down a size. There is also adjustable strap which help give you support.

I'm looking forward to attending the Llangollen Fringe on Wednesday night, GULP are playing at the town hall and my other half's new band Seazoo are supporting. You should check out their new teazoo mugs which will be available on the night. If you've never been to Llangollen and the many festivals they have then come and visit, it's beautiful and there's so much to see and do.
