she may contain the urge to runaway

This weekend has been full of sun, sounds & cider. For years I felt the less time I spent in my home town the better, but just lately I have been surrounding myself with the beautiful scenery, my wonderful friends and some cracking live music.
We enjoyed a late lunch at the idyllic setting of the Alyn in Rossett, the fact we're both vegetarian can prove difficult as there is usually only one option on the menu but we had a choice of four mouthwatering mains.
Haloumi!
oh comely
On Saturday evening we were lucky enough  to attend the album launch for Golden Fable - A local band, who's music can only be described as unique, the breathtaking venue of St Giles stands tall over the town. With ears full of song and our bellies full of wine we headed home for what seemed to be an early night but 1am these days leave me feel rotten for a number of days to follow, I must be getting old!
Ice Cream in the Park.
I took the opportunity to get snapping today when I attend a local gig, held by one of my good friends. The vintage gems were everywhere , so it gave me the perfect chance to get chatting to new and old friends who's fashion choices should be celebrated.
