Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish : Review

After years of trying to find the perfect cream cleanser, a few months ago I received a wonderful sample of The Green People's Cleanser and Make Up Remover, it was the best I had tried but there always seemed to be something missing. It smells great, applies well & it's gentle to my skin...hmmm what was this niggling thing I just couldnt put my finger on? Then I tried the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and instantly, still unsure of what the issues were I knew I had found the perfect cleanser for me. Hooray!!

This product I have noticed has had mixed review online, the majority of the blogs I follow seemed to love it, especially sailorjennie, after watching one of her vlogs earlier this year she described this product as one she wouldnt be without and as we have the same skin type I felt I should give it a go!

The cleanser came beautifully packed in a waterproof bag with two pure muslin cloths, the packaging is luxurious and it describes itself to 'cleanses and gently exfoliates for smoother, clearer skin' top marks given for appearance.

APPLICATION
The pump action nozzle provides just the right amount, avoiding wastage (an issue I found with TGP Cleanser) Gently massage into dry skin covering your face and neck. Rinse the muslin cloth in hand hot water, wring the cloth dry and gently remove any trace of the cleanser, repeat if needed. Then splash your face with cold water and apply toner (my favourite has always been the vitamin E collection from the body shop) and choice of moisturiser (I'm still looking for my favourite, suggestions welcome :)

As you can see its easy to apply and glides beautifully, as soon as it's applied my skin instantly feels refreshed an hydrated. I do feel that maybe this product wouldn't suit all skin types. I have very dry skin and the active ingredients such as cocoa butter work great for me but I feel it may be a little heavy for someone who suffers with oily skin or break outs, maybe occasional use alongside another product might be better.

The ingredients are outstanding and the combination of rosemary, cocoa butter and eucalyptus oil give it that spa like facial quality. Cruelty free and only using naturally sourced ingredients this may be on the pricey side for some people, but it last forever, you don't need to over use this product, one pump is more than enough.

If I was to be very picky the only downside for me is how well it removes my eye make up, my eyelashes are white so I know how well a product is instantly if my eyelashes disappear. I found it wasn't as easy as with TGP Cleanser, but eventually my stubborn make up was removed.

Overall I think you can gather I am converted, I love almost everything about this product and I plan to use it as much as I can, this one is firmly staying in my bathroom for the foreseeable future.
